Hey All — I’ve been watching Joe Hudson’s live coaching calls on YouTube. They’re really good. But I keep thinking: “I could do it better!” Well, maybe not better — just different. Most of you are probably aware of the therapy-style interviews I’ve done with Andrew Tate, Blair White, Pearl Davis, and others. If not, you can check them out on my YouTube. But after watching Joe Hudson, I thought it might be interesting to do some interviews with “regular people,” not just controversial internet personalities. That’s where you come in. How do you feel about putting yourself out there on YouTube? Do you have an issue you’re trying to resolve and need help with? If so, maybe you’d like to be part of my experiment. Here’s how it will work: You’ll bring me a specific problem, and I’ll do what I do — help you understand the unconscious emotional block at the source of the issue. (Any issue is fair game. Where are you feeling stuck?) We’ll record the session on Zoom, and if all goes well, I’ll post it on YouTube. The most important part is that we keep it about you and your experience. Because that’s what my work is about: understanding and taking responsibility for how we’re creating the circumstances of our lives. Why am I doing this? If I'm totally honest, I need to create content — and this feels like the most interesting and exciting way to do it. But it also serves my greater mission: to let people know they’re not alone; that there’s nothing wrong with them; that their struggles are normal, and that everyone has them. And to show them that there’s a way out. If you’re up for being part of this experiment, please APPLY HERE. (If you’re feeling some anxiety about the idea, that might be a signal to take the risk!) I’m calling it “The Space” with David Sutcliffe. ❤️👊🏼 Dave P.S. If you have any questions, just reply to this email. |

"I need that" is the most common response I get when I tell people about my work. Because everyone knows they have feelings they hold back —— and talking about them isn't enough. So when I describe the physicality that allows people to access their repressed emotions, almost everyone immediately gets it. This wasn't the case 20 years ago when I started. But now somatic therapy has gone mainstream, and most people understand that to release ourselves from the grip of our emotions we must be...
Gentlemen, Emotional Mastery for Men starts tomorrow—and something unusual happened. I only have a few guys signed up. I usually get 15-20. (Not sure if it's the economy or my marketing sucks. 🤔) But that means the guys who join now are going to get what is basically 1:1 level attention from me inside a small, intimate group. Normally, my 12-week, small group cohorts are $4,000. For this training, it’s only $997. If you’ve been watching and waiting from the sidelines, telling yourself you’ll...
Hey All, I've been seeing a lot of criticism about “emotional release” and “cathartic experience” therapies. It goes something like this: It's performative. It doesn't work to heal your trauma. Big cathartic experience fools you into thinking you're "healed." It actually makes things worse because it reinforces the pattern. I get it. And it can be true—if the facilitator doesn’t fully understand the true nature of healing. Feeling your feelings is an important first step. If you have a...
